These Terms and Conditions govern bookings, purchases, registrations, and use of services provided by Synk Dance and Music Studio ("Synk," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a class, renting the studio, purchasing a package, registering for an event, or making a payment through our website or payment link, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1Services
Synk may provide regular dance and music classes, private or group training, workshops, special events, studio rentals, choreography, performance training, and other related services. Schedules, instructors, rates, inclusions, and availability may change when reasonably necessary. Any significant change affecting a confirmed booking will be communicated to the customer.
2Bookings and Registration
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after Synk confirms the schedule and receives full payment or the required deposit. Customers must provide complete and accurate information. A booking made by or for a person below 18 years old requires consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3Prices and Payments
All prices are displayed and charged in Philippine pesos unless otherwise stated. Payments may be made through PayMongo or another method approved by Synk. Customers must review the selected service, schedule, and total amount before paying. A successful payment does not confirm an unavailable or incorrectly selected schedule unless Synk also confirms the booking.
4Attendance and Late Arrival
Customers should arrive on time. Late arrival does not extend a booked session. A participant may be refused entry when joining late would disrupt a class or create a safety concern. Failure to attend without the required notice is a no-show and is not refundable or eligible for rescheduling.
5Class Packages
Packages must be used within the validity period disclosed at purchase. They cannot be converted to cash, shared, transferred, or extended without Synk's written approval. Unused sessions after expiration are forfeited unless otherwise required by law.
6Studio Rentals
The booking customer is responsible for all participants and guests. Renters must follow the approved schedule and capacity, use the premises and equipment responsibly, keep the studio clean, and follow staff safety instructions. Setup, rehearsal, and cleanup must fit within the reserved period. Additional time is chargeable at the applicable rate, subject to availability. Damage caused by the renter or group must be paid for by the renter.
7Health and Safety
Dance and physical activity involve risk of injury. Each customer is responsible for assessing fitness to participate and should disclose any relevant injury, medical condition, pregnancy, or limitation before the session. Participants must stop and inform the instructor if they feel pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or unusual discomfort. Synk is not responsible for injury caused by an undisclosed condition, disregard of instructions, reckless conduct, or ordinary risks of physical activity, except where caused by Synk's negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
8Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their belongings. Synk is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items unless the loss was directly caused by Synk's proven negligence.
9Customer Conduct
Synk may refuse admission or require a person to leave for harassment, bullying, discrimination, threatening conduct, intoxication, deliberate property damage, repeated disruption, refusal to follow safety instructions, or behavior that places others at risk. Removal for serious misconduct does not entitle the customer to a refund.
10Photos and Videos
Synk may take photos or videos during activities for documentation or promotion. Where consent is required, particularly for minors, Synk will obtain permission before promotional use of an identifiable image. Customers may advise us that they do not wish to appear. Personal recording may be restricted to protect choreography, music rights, instructors, and other participants' privacy.
11Intellectual Property
Choreography, teaching materials, videos, branding, graphics, and other original content remain the property of Synk or their respective owners. Customers may not reproduce, sell, distribute, commercially perform, or claim ownership of protected material without written permission.
12Schedule Changes and Cancellations
Synk may substitute an instructor, move a session, or cancel due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, insufficient enrollment, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If Synk cancels a paid session, the customer may choose rescheduling, studio credit, or a refund for the affected service.
13Refunds
Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and credits are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy in this document, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
14Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Philippine law, Synk is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from a booking, schedule change, or participation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits a mandatory consumer right.
15Changes to These Terms
Synk may update these terms when necessary and will post the updated version with a new effective date. Changes will not unfairly remove rights already attached to a fully paid and confirmed booking.
16Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
